Cat Poop Cupcakes

Cat Poop Cupcakes

In observance of the upcoming holy day of the Great Fool of the Month of April, I bring you, cat poop cupcakes! They're best served to someone who has a moderate to extreme dislike for cats but even cat lovers will enjoy these delicious treats.

All you need is your favorite cake mix and ingredients, white icing, chocolate icing, light-colored cookies like a Nilla Wafers, and some food coloring.

To prepare you'll want to mash the cookies with some green or blue food coloring using a mortar and pestle or a food processor. You may have to use your hands to make sure it's good and speckled and looks like cat litter.

Bake your cupcakes, frost them with white icing and dip them in the cookie litter making sure that all of the frosting is covered. Fill a frosting bag equipped with a large round (poop) tip with the chocolate icing and then really channel a pooping cat. If you need inspiration, take a look in your cat's litter box. Maybe Chairman Meow left you a freshie. Is your cat a good pooper? Maybe he's has a little tummy ache? Maybe he eats your plants and it brings a little color to what he leaves in the litter box!

When it comes to poop shape, there are a ton of options! You can go healthy, soft serve, monkey tails, and the list goes on... but really go with your gut here. It's important that you bring a certain amount of authenticity to these treats.

Regardless of what you decide on poop-wise, I hope you and the people you bestow these upon really revel in the delight of eating a treat that looks like cat poop.

ALSO: If you're looking for an Easter treat, frost your cupcakes with green icing using a grass tip and add some chocolate rabbit poops. You may want to add some edible sparkles to these so that your kids know they're from the Easter Bunny and not just a regular rabbit.
